A young mother's joys and struggles as a missionary in Ukraine. Since the Ukrainian borscht (soup) is always better the next day, I thought that our news would also be just as good or maybe even better the next day.

First picnic of the year
Jessica and Josh and a few of their friends had a picnic in our back yard, last Sunday. It wasn't WARM but it was warm enough to enjoy a picnic and it looks like they did.
I love to work with people, but most of all I love to share God's love. That is why God called my husband, Jason, and I to Ukraine. We are missionaries to children and youth in Ukraine.
When God brings us into His love and places His love in our hearts, we value others as He values them. We no longer value people based on what they can do for us or what their status is in life; rather, we value them because they are improtant to God.--Roy Lessin

We have an address for those of you who care to know. Even though we don't live in the capitol city Kiev, we pick up our mail there when we are in town. Just be aware that not everything that is sent is delivered. But we do love letters from friends.
